*Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. 

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Perform activities relating to designing, building, testing, implementing and maintaining IT services, portfolios, products, projects and processes under the guidance of a Sr. IT Services Analyst or Manager. May assist in the coordination of tasks for subordinates. Independence level: Works under general supervision.

Design, develop, and maintain application integrations for distributed work and asset management (AM) platform; engage in all phases of software development lifecycle; deliver application integration updates and changes; serve as technical analyst for integrations between utility work, the AM platform, and other business systems; ensure solutions align with application architecture and data models; complete system analysis and enhancement requirements tasks for self and contract developers; provide off-hours upgrade support for enhancements, as needed.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Perform, document and assist in planning work activities relating to IT service portfolios or products in support of our business partners. Assist with IT activities required to manage service level agreements under the direction of a Sr. IT Services Analyst or Manager.
• Maintain engagement with business and IT partners.
• Assist less experienced personnel.
• Proactively build business/IT knowledge to provide solutions.
• Utilize best practices to improve products and services. Apply and verify compliance to standards as defined within the Management Model.

JOB SCOPE

• As assigned, work effectively with outsourcing partners
• Performs this service in support of (fill in business area – i.e. Energy Delivery, Real Time, etc).

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree and typically 2 to 5 years related experience in Information Technology or 6 to 9 equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of utility business practices and processes
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI or other reporting technology a plus.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related, plus 3 years' progressive IT experience using agile methodologies, Oracle Fusion Middleware (OSB/SOA), MFT, ODI, and Dell Boomi; Cl/CD automation with Jenkins; and customizing Java functions and groovy scripts to support/develop work and AM applications using TIBCO BusinessWorks, Unix (Solaris).
