PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs and/or manages activities relating to planning, designing, building, and maintaining IT services, projects, portfolios, products and processes. Creates and assigns detailed tasks to subordinates. Has budget responsibility for a small project, sub-project or process component. Expected to work under minimal supervision.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Perform, manage and appropriately document work activities relating to IT service portfolios or products in support of our business partners. Lead IT activities required to manage service level agreements. Assist others in planning and prioritizing work and work schedule.
- Assist in creation of documentation for products and services. Use best practices to improve products and services provided to business unit partners, and monitor adherence within Team/Group to standards as defined within the Management Model
- Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners and other stakeholders
- Establish positive team environment by proactively assisting and training less experienced personnel. Provide performance and development feedback as required
- Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function
- Provide support and transparency into the annual $84M of service billing charged to EU IT.
- Help manage Capital Refresh projects of $10-$14M per year; including business case creation, forecasting and variance analysis. Assist with identification of capital needs to facilitate EU LRP or LOE remediation efforts. Proactively identify areas for capital investment to support potential usages of opportunity dollars, up to $5M annually.
- Lead the operations focused Agile POD for Customer. Share learnings to other Utility and Functional Towers to enable additional MTTR reductions.
- Assist in Architecture Management Compliance (AMC) assessments and budgetary requirements.
- Analyze potential opportunities to improve portfolio usage of Tech Design & Engineering (TD&E) (formerly C&I) services with regard to effectively using technology and TD&E capabilities (review storage consumption, growth, frequency of use/access); present results to the client.
- Support change management efforts for Tech Ops (TO) and TD&E projects, proactively communicating efforts with OpCo IT or Business impacts.
- Supports cloud first strategy by promoting benefits and assisting with cost estimates to portfolio owners.
- Facilitate collaboration and coordination across IT groups
- Assist in preparing and presenting periodic and on-demand reports to provide IT Leadership status of on-going initiatives, visibility into strategic direction, and awareness of emergent issues. Support the resolution of action items and tasks as a result of these report outs.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 5 to 8 years experience in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Proficiency with data analysis in Microsoft Excel
- Experience leading small IT projects or sub-teams and knowledge of IT project management.
- Strong problem solving and analysis ability.
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work with remote project teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of IT Processes as it relates to Service Now, APM, Apptio as well as TD&I Service Billing (Rate x Quantity)
Previous work with Long Range Planning and budgets
Ability to resolve issues using process knowledge and tools
Knowledge of Portfolio Management and ability to work with Portfolio Owners and Application owners on a wide range of issues
Understanding of Infrastructure and Cloud technology a plus
Ability to lead small groups in one off meetings or re-occurring meetings
