PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Engage, along with IT VP, with Exelon Business Units in the development of technology solutions and support of IT services and products. Partner with business clients and IT leadership in the development of a strategic technology plan and investment strategy that meets the needs of the business while leveraging standard enterprise architectures. Participate on committees that guide product strategies. Lead a team of information technology professionals responsible for providing a single point of contact with the business, understanding business processes, technology needs and requirements and translating business requirements into appropriate technology solutions. Participate in the overall leadership of Information Technology organization. Create and maintain strategic relationship with key IT vendors and manage IT vendor contracts that support this specific business segment. Sr. Manager of Apollo Solution Delivery is responsible for the overall leadership, direction and solution ownership of the Apollo Program (Business Capabilities, Delivery design, Value Stream Alignment, Adjacent System Capability Alignment). Apollo Program is Financial Systems Transformation program for Constellation business simultaneously transitioning to Exelon implementation. This multiyear & multiplatform implementation of financial systems including core Financial System along with Tax Engine, Fixed Asset (PowerPlan), Treasury (Kyriba), Invoice processing (Kofax), Reconciliation & Treasury cash management. Integrations for Finance & Accounting with various subledger system such HR, Work Management, Concur etc. The Sr. Manager for solution delivery will be responsible for the solution direction, implementation roadmap and architectural design of the program. The role will engage with the Apollo Program Leadership to establish Apollo projects solution requirements including technology evaluation and architecture. Own the delivery of the Apollo delivery flight path. Lead the design and development of the business capabilities, customer journeys, personas and delivery of the solution). Assist with the governance and oversight of the program to ensure that solution outcomes and benefits of the business case are achieved. Work with the IT organization to identify and implement IT best practices and business capability model. Establish and maintain partnerships with strategic vendor partners to ensure delivery of their respective scopes of work in support of agreed upon requirements. Collaborate with IT peers from inter-dependent projects and IT Support teams to deliver required solution capabilities aligned with other systems. Lead the execution of the solution delivery workstream to deliver required solutions and capabilities as defined within the program roadmap. Plan and manage resources (internal and contract), finances, scope and services within the technical workstreams of the program to deliver the defined business outcomes. Candidate should have a strong understanding of the Exelon and Constellation Financial System and Business processes: journal entry, Code block management, Project management, Accounting & FPA, GAAP & TAX, Financial Close, LRP, LE, KPI reporting, External reporting, SOX and financial controls framwork. Strong working knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP and Business Intelligence offerings and applications software: Oracle ERP SaaS with GL, PPM, Inventory & Supplier Management Oracle EPM SaaS including various modules such as Financial Close & Consolidation (FCCS); Planning Budget & Forecasting (EPBCS), Workforce & Project Planning; Account Recon (ARCS); Data Management (EDMCS); Narrative Reporting Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) with Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) Oracle PaaS services including database services (DBCS, ATP, FAW) and Integration technologies (ODI – Oracle Data Integrator, OIC – Oracle Integration Cloud) PowerPlan Fixed Assets Kyriba Treasury Management Vertex Tax engine Application Extensions using VBCS (Visual Builder) IaaS Infra structure components - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
