PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

BGE is looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team.  This role will develop, manage and implement marketing plans focused on programs and initiatives such as energy efficiency, digital adoption, community and sustainability.  This role will be responsible for implementing integrated marketing plans with tactics from multiple channels including social media, digital, email, direct mail, print, TV, outdoor, etc.  The role will work closely with internal clients to develop marketing plans as well as external marketing/advertising agencies to execute plans and measure results. 

Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Work with internal partners to develop marketing strategies to meet defined goals. (40%)
• Manage and implement marketing plans supporting company programs and initiatives with residential and business customers. (40%)
• Manage program marketing budgets including budget development, invoice processing, and forecasting. (10%)
• Help develop and leverage market research to achieve marketing goals. (10%)

JOB SCOPE

• Strategic development and execution of marketing campaigns to align with internal business priorities. 
• Work across the organization to manage the review and approval process for marketing materials.
• Planning, development, and implementation of paid advertising campaigns.
• Responsible for results and analytics of marketing campaigns.
• Other projects as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or other relevant field
• 5-8 years relevant experience or equivalent
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong leadership and project management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree
• Familiarity with integrated marketing strategies
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple marketing campaigns
• Superior Strategic thinking
