The Compliance and Support team works across a number of disciplines to allow Architecture and Engineering to deliver services of a high standard to ExelonIT. This position is focused on Software Asset Management and compliance, it is a multi-dimensional team with responsibility for the way in which services operate and the way in which data and information is used to support service delivery.  The Software Asset Senior Services Analyst will ensure compliance across SAM. Experience in the completion of vendor audits including major suppliers, and IAITAM certification with ITIL qualifications desirable.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage Enterprise License true-up & reconciliation. Provide support during software audits. Recommend audit defense strategies.
• Enforce software compliance rules and plan and monitor Software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor contracts
• Understand principles used to calculate metrics of licenses
• Work with Procurement to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and purchases are tracked correctly
• Identify savings opportunities through software re-licensing and license optimization
• Develop and implement performance metrics to capture efficiency
• Respond to requests from software owners, end users, and team members for specific IT Software Asset Management information
• Actively assess risk and makes recommendations to software owners to optimize the software assets
• Keep informed of new software license models and options for key vendor products
• Serve as a cost optimization champion with the IT organization
• Oversee the initialization of inventory campaigns of software rights

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or related field.
• Must be able to be an effective communicator with all levels of internal customers, staff and management
• Detailed oriented & possess a strong sense of urgency
• Pro-active problem-solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• ServiceNow, Documentum, AssetSuite 8, and Passport experience
• ServiceNow certification in Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Configuration Management, or Discovery preferred.
• ITIL or IAITAM certifications
• Knowledge of IT agreements and legal terms
