SUMMARY OF DUTIES
- Under direct or general supervision is regularly and customarily responsible for the operation of the storeroom to which assigned.
- Receives, cares for, disburses and ships and inventories materials and supplies passing through the storeroom and maintains necessary storeroom records and reports.
Qualifications
Required:- Responsible for maintaining the physical condition, orderliness and cleanliness of the storeroom and adjacent yard and their contents.
- Experience demonstrating skill issuing emergency purchase orders or making emergency disbursements.
- Experience demonstrating skill performing clerical work and incidental to the job.
- Experience demonstrating skill operating various type of equipment designed for entering, retrieving and processing information related to Stores, such as computers.
- Experience demonstrating skill operating automotive equipment, forklift and other mechanical equipment used in the stores department.
- Ability and willingness to perform a second role in accordance with PHI's Emergency Preparedness Guidelines for all employees.
- Must have two years experience with this Company or other training or experience acceptable to this Company.
- Ability and willingness to work extra and/or irregular hours.
- Must be familiar with the Company's Safety rules applicable to this and related jobs.
- Must possess or ability to promptly obtain a Commercial Motor Vehicle License and pass a DOT physical.
