PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

JOB EXPECTATION: Engage in job duties outlined below, to reduce risk exposure in areas of cyber and physical security; and to promote our mission of safeguarding the people, property, reputation and shareholder value of the corporation. PURPOSE Provide daily management and operational oversight of Security Operations software systems and security alarm performance. Provide technical project management and develop strategic roadmaps for enterprise security systems strategy and enhancements. Act as the subject matter expert for Security Operations software systems. Oversee vendors providing software, systems, and project support. Coordinate and liaison with Exelon Business Units and CISS teams relating to security systems operations, repair, and preventive maintenance. Ensure compliance of security systems with Management Model and regulatory standards. Plan and coordinate security system outage response. Test and evaluate new technologies.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage and oversee security systems and operation (40%)
• Lead corporate compliance and regulatory conformance reviews (30%)
• Develop training and systems support for end users (10%)
• Contribute to Security Operations processes, procedures, and best practices (10%)
• Manage system update and related outages (10%)

JOB SCOPE

• Ensure efficient operation of intrusion detection, access control, and video systems
• Track and identify system alarm performance issues, manage alarm performance remediation, and ensure effective integration of systems with CISS teams and Exelon Business Units
• Work independently

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years of security system experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
• Ability to work effectively under high stress situations
• Ability to rapidly assess and respond to life safety and security incidents
• Proficiency on the following systems: CCure 9000E, ExacqVision, Compass, DMP, D3, JIRA

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree
• Technical certifications related to electronic security systems, IT networks, and/or physical security protection
• 2 years of Physical Security system integration and configuration experience.
