• Oversee day-to-day activities surrounding electronic document preservation, collection, and storage. Evaluate case facts and circumstances and develop and implement appropriate plans to preserve, collect and store electronic documents in compliance with all legal obligations. In partnership with eDiscovery Coordinator and paralegals, identify data sources relevant to matters and ensure preservation and collection occurs as required. Supervise legal holds and collection plans to ensure they are crafted as appropriate to each matter. Lead weekly Forensics and paralegal eDiscovery meetings and guide teams on process and case activities. Report milestone activities of the electronic document collection and storage projects. Collaborate with Digital Forensics on process improvements and guide eDiscovery Coordinator and vendors on technical improvements to legal hold compliance system. 
• Oversee all electronic document review, analysis, and production projects. Recommend machine learning, analytics, and other advanced technologies and methods as required to ensure cost effective handling of review activities. Assess work progress and develop and implement plans to resolve related problems. Plan and coordinate work to be performed by IT, Legal, Management, eDiscovery vendors, replication vendors and contract document reviewers.  Evaluate use of technology tools.  Manage projects with case teams and interface independently and effectively with attorneys, vendors, and peers. Manage Relativity storage and users to ensure we stay within IT and Legal Ops budgets. 
• Apply and utilize proper technology resources to meet project needs.  Remain current on the status and future direction of technology within the Legal market, as well as within Exelon and consult with Legal management regarding strategic use of information technology to achieve Legal’s business strategies and objectives.  Consult with Legal management and users regarding new application or application enhancement requests and make recommendations regarding same. 
• Lead and facilitate robust electronic discovery training programs for Legal and Security staff, leveraging internal and external resources as appropriate. Under direction of Manager of Legal Technology and eDiscovery Operations, updates eDiscovery GOSP model and eDiscovery Protocols to ensure they remain current and relevant given technological change. Provides cross-functional oversight to Security, IT, and Legal teams on eDiscovery process compliance.
•  Prepare and monitor electronic discovery budgets for legal department matters.  Enforce vendor adherence to invoicing procedures.
•  Manage relationships with vendors who supply and support Electronic discovery applications. 
•  Prepare and run eDiscovery project status reports and assist, as required, with preparation and running of other reports, analysis of data, identification of discrepancies, preparation of recommendations to management for review; or monitoring of financial and operational performance indicators.
•  Assist Legal Information Systems Manager with Legal IT projects, including roll-out and upgrades on Legal applications.
•  Train users on Legal IT applications
•  Other Legal duties as assigned; specifically in the Litigation, Labor & Employment and Client Services areas 




•    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in project management-based activities, preferably in a law firm or corporate law department setting.
•    Heavy concentration of litigation support and technical experience.  
•    Experience with change management, presentations, and training.
•    Conceptual understanding of technology resources and their application in litigation, management aptitude and skill.
•    Ability and willingness to see projects through to completion; to meet expectations for quality and deadlines; to be accountable to Sr Manager of Legal Technology and eDiscovery Operations. 
•    Ability to lead.
•    Willingness to travel, as required. May require working outside normal business hours and weekends as needed to support deadlines. 


•    Experience working with Exterro and RelativityOne
•    Experience working with a corporate legal department.


This position is responsible for assuring that the Exelon complies with electronic document production, which allows the Legal department to achieve productivity and efficiencies required to provide Legal services to clients in a timely and cost effective manner.
