PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Perform duties to support the Occupational Health Department (OHS). Oversee processing and billing functions: prepare and analyze comprehensive and detailed reports for internal and external use, including providing periodic program status reports to monitor and address various areas of concern. Management and oversight of Contractor activities, control of the budget and spend, onboarding, contract management, and process improvement. Navigate between all the numerous technologies, process and programmatic changes with Information Technology and our vendors to provide coaching and training for the nurses to avoid downtime.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES- Create various spreadsheets, reports, analyze, prepare, and interpret statistical and financial data within OHS. (40%)
- Ability to coordinate and monitor onboarding activities, conduct fact finding and analysis to improve the contract management processes. (30%)
- Provide statistical information to ensure the most effective utilization of personnel, equipment and/or materials for business operations. (15%)
- Ensure compliance interface: Nurse licenses and certifications. (10%)
- Responsible for providing technical and maintenance support for the OHS 800 Injury Line. (5%)
JOB SCOPE- Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, and regulations relating to financial management and disability case management data tracking.
- Perform analysis of the departments cost elements to ensure efficient operations and prevent ineffective and non-value activities.
- Demonstrate ability to resolve issues with employee onboarding and daily functions that require interface with multiple layers in the organizations and unique problem solving.
- Ability to anticipate problems and their underlying causes and resolve them quickly and effectively.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
- Proactively maintains thorough working knowledge of company technology and applications that are applicable to business processes.
- Coordinates and provides training to staff, as necessary.
- Attention to detail in composing, proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Act as liaison to internal customers to OHS when communicating statistical information.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-year degree in business, statistics, related health degree and 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 9 - 12 years relevant business experience is required. Ability to work both independently and on a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and complete various projects.
- Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint),
