PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Key member of the Supply Business Operations and Technical Support Team, providing financial and analytical expertise, project management skills, data visualization, actionable insights, and innovative thought leadership to drive sustainable results across Constellation’s Supply Chain in alignment with Constellation’s vision and goals.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop analyses to support decision making on strategic sourcing initiatives, including pricing (strategy, prices sheets and analytics), savings analysis, and scorecard evaluation guidance. Support Category Manager initiatives by providing financial analyses (should-cost, make versus buy, total cost of ownership, etc.), templates, trainings and guidelines that drive business decisions and Supply enabled savings
- Plan and manage the entire lifecycle of enterprise-wide projects that will drive efficiencies and enhancements throughout Constellation’s Supply Chain processes and the company as a whole.
- Ensure that reporting is accurate, and that the data and data visualization provides actionable insights to the end users. A key area of focus is reporting on Supply’s diverse spend progress against goals, and monitoring of key Supply performance metrics
- Participate on cross functional and cross business unit project teams in support of changes to business processes using existing and new technologies and/or systems. Identify and support continuous improvement and innovative initiatives across Supply Chain, such as automation opportunities or other areas as identified by leadership to improve efficiency and effectiveness, drive savings and ensure strategic focus of category management.
- Provide timely market intelligence insights into major industry events that could impact Constellation’s Supply chain by providing executive level economic insights to Constellation leadership
- Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned
JOB SCOPE
- Interfaces routinely with Category Managers, supply operations, internal customers, and Constellation senior leadership.
- Independent decision making while performing typical and non-typical job duties.
- Support management of categories within and across business units with consideration of total process life cycle costs, business unit needs, Constellation goals, and risk profiles.
- Managing multiple deliverables simultaneously with focus on the continuous improvement of the Supply organization.
- Availability for travel across Constellation sites, Supplier locations and business units; as business needs dictate.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or related field with five (5) years experience
- Excellent MS Office suite skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strengths in organization and planning
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial analyses
- Strong project and change management skills, with experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership
- Strong service orientation and focus on business partnership; experience in navigating and balancing multiple customer needs
