Primary Purpose

The Supply Operations Foreman is responsible for the safe and productive implementation of all work tasks related to the maintenance and repair of transmission & substation and distribution assets that move through the PECO Oregon Shop for repair, refurbishment, and/or testing. This position coordinates with T&S Field and T&S Engineering on the scheduling of both periodic and emergent repairs based on changing conditions.    The Position also prioritizes with Material Availability the repair/refurbishment of distribution assets based on inventory needs.  As well as ensuring compliance with all safety requirements, adherence to established company procedures, and performs applicable work to industry

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

1  Must demonstrate characteristics of the leadership fundamentals and enforce company fundamentals by serving as a role model and providing feedback and coaching as needed.

2.  Provide direction for corrective maintenance repairs, predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance and the execution of modifications and projects. Determine procedures, drawings, equipment, estimated time, materials and specialized labor required to perform restorative work on company equipment.

3  Serves as a liaison to supervision and management by reporting and providing feedback concerning possible shortcomings, training requirements and job quality analysis.

4  Audit and perform job briefs. Identify and analyze - corrective and preventative maintenance, modifications, and project activities. Interface and collaborate with Work Management, T&S, and Engineering to identify and resolve equipment troubleshooting.

5  Scheduling with T&S, T&S Engineering, and T&S WM on scheduling work in accordance with preventative maintenance and outage schedules.

6  Keeping current on equipment and testing standards.

7  Must be able to communicate across all levels of the organization and demonstrate a willingness to perform in a supervisory capacity.

8  Identifying and procuring materials needed for work completion.  Tracking of work completions and charging of time and materials to appropriate work centers.

Minimum Qualifications

· Must have a minimum of 5 years of satisfactory performance in the maintenance, construction and operation of substation transmission and distribution systems.

· Must have satisfactory performance rating for current and previous year.

· Must have satisfactory attendance and ability to meet minimum call out expectation/or storm responsibilities.

· Must possess good oral and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

· Previous AS8/Passport experience.

· Successful completion of core supervisory/management training and development programs.

.  Previous T&S field experience
