PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Lead strategic business continuity initiatives for a portfolio of Operating Companies to include assessment, development and implementation of programs, business continuity consulting, projects, planning, maintenance, training and drill exercises. Act as a liaison to all Exelon Operating Companies impacted by actual or probable business disruptions and coordinate support team response, recovery and logistical functions. Perform 24/7 on-call rotational coverage for crisis management. Design and recommend solutions to risks identified during business impact analysis, site risk assessments, contingency planning, etc. Designs and leads testing and maintenance of recovery sites and emergency equipment. Interface with local, state and federal government officials, as appropriate. Stay abreast of developments in business continuity and crisis management practices and actively participate in industry dialogue. Has budget responsibility for key projects. Supervises two to three team members.

JOB SCOPE
Position interacts with all levels of employees, including senior level executives; has expertise in, and can speak authoritatively about, any hazards which potentially threaten Exelon's continuity of business, and recommends appropriate response and recovery strategies; and has senior level expertise in business continuity planning, business impact analysis, crisis/incident management, and tools/systems associated with these functions.
