Support the Sustainability and Climate Strategy team in addressing strategic environmental issues. Manage the implementation and maintenance of the Constellation Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory Management Plan, including annual plan reviews and revisions, maintain the GHG inventory database; and coordinate the quarterly GHG performance reporting. Contribute to enhancing Constellation's reputation as an environmental leader by managing the preparation of responses to various climate and sustainability surveys. Compile quarterly energy use performance data in support of reporting progress to senior leadership. Perform analysis and research on emerging environmental and sustainability issues.

  • GHG Inventory Management � Implement and maintain the Exelon GHG Inventory Management Plan (IMP): � Conduct annual reviews of the plan to identify required updates and recommend enhancements; � Coordinate across the company to ensure the integrity (completeness and accuracy) of the GHG emissions data; � Compile energy use performance data, perform analysis and support development of quarterly reporting for senior management; � Support development of the annual year-end performance report on overall energy use; and � Support the development of annual energy use performance goals � Prepare a year-end summary of the annual GHG emissions; � Support the achievement of annual GHG reduction goals for Constellation; � Manage the third party GHG Inventory validation process � Maintain a current working knowledge of the GHG accounting protocols (e.g. US EPA Climate Leaders, DOE 1605(b), WRI/WBCSD) and provide consultation to the OpCos on the measurement and analysis of GHG emissions; and � (50%)
  • Communications � Support internal and external communications on strategic environment issues. Maintain the Constellation internet site environmental content, coordinating periodic updates throughout the company, and preparing the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Index; Manage the development of the annual Constellation Sustainability Metrics Report; Coordinate and support the preparation of responses to external environment surveys and sustainability reports, e.g., Dow Jones Sustainability Index and Carbon Disclosure Project; and, Support the preparation of internal and external communications materials on strategic environment issues (e.g., presentations, briefing sheets, press releases). (30%)
  • Research and Analysis Perform research and analysis on strategic environmental issues in support of the developing recommendations for senior leadership (e.g., GHG emission protocols, alternative fuels, water resources, emerging energy technologies, legislation, regulation, and stakeholder issues). (10%)
  • Business support Support development of Constellation clean energy products, providing data and technical assistance in product development (10%)

  • Reports to Director, Sustainability and Climate Strategy
  • Individual Contributor, will work with all levels within the organization


  • 4-year relevant degree (science, engineering, public policy or business).
  • Minimum eight years of relevant energy industry and/or environmental experience in: demonstrated communication and negotiating skills; performing benchmarking analysis; analyzing performance data; researching and analyzing environmental issues, policies and regulations.
  • Proven excellence in written communication
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant contemporary environmental issues for energy companies such as climate change, regulatory issues in the US, regional and state initiatives.
  • Proven excellence in oral conversation and presentation skills
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Proven collaboration and listening skills

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, engineering, law, public policy or business).
  • Experience in developing corporate environmental and sustainability strategies for a Fortune 500 company.
