This position reports to the Vice President of Investment Strategy. The position prepares asset allocation reports for all trusts: pension, retiree healthcare, savings plan and foundation.  Assists public market portfolio managers with all aspects of portfolio management.  Produces risk analysis using Aladdin and Caissa. Works on ad hoc investment strategy analysis and assists with investment manager monitoring. Assists with cash forecasting and performance attribution reporting.



  • Support asset allocation function by assisting in evaluating positioning of all Exelon investment trusts, including analysis of expected return, risk, and historical performance attribution by manager and by composite. (40%)

  • Assist public market portfolio managers in evaluating investment managers, manage analysis and reporting and maintaining those reports within the Investment Office databases.(20%)

  • Prepare reports for Investment Office, Investment Committee and Board, and present materials as necessary. (20%)

  • Participate in investment manager meetings across all asset classes to build understanding of markets and investment products. (10%)

  • Assist in special projects and special requests as required for the Investment Office. (10%)


This position works closely with the Investment Leadership Team.  The position will require strong analytical skills and strong relationship skills with both internal and external contacts.



  • Bachelor's degree in finance or general business administration from an accredited four year university
  • Minimum 5 -8 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field investment operations experience a plus
  • Progress towards a CFA, or MBA a plus
  • Interest and/or experience in investments, pension, 401k plans is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills
  • Proven skills in computer applications such a Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Blackrock Aladdin, eVestment and Bloomberg a plus.
  • The ability to work independently and handle several tasks at a time is required.
