This position ensures the Operations on shift schedule is developed and implemented in accordance with labor laws and union agreements (if applicable).

  • Determine Operational needs and develop manpower schedule compatible with overtime and financial commitments. All schedules must be in compliance with regulatory overtime guidelines of LS-AA-119 and collective bargaining agreements where applicable. (30%)
  • Plan and implement overtime call-outs as necessary in accordance with call-out rules and FFD program. (15%)
  • Resolves inconsistencies in time records to ensure completeness and accuracy. Tracks cost impact versus schedule and budget. (15%)
  • Ensures minimum operations crew complement for Tech Specs, Safe Shutdown, and Fire Brigade. Interfaces as necessary with the Training Department to maintain accurate status of operator qualifications and allocates operations personnel as appropriate. (10%)
  • Ensure work hours are in accordance with 82-12 and prepare deviations if required. (10%)
  • Perform special projects and collateral duties as assigned. (20%)


This position is directly involved with ensuring sufficient manpower to support the Operations work schedule, payroll, and Operations Senior management for call-outs. The scheduler is responsible to ensure 82-12 is adhered to, proper administration of the FFD program with respect to Ops personnel, CBA or other work rules are not violated, and the minimum manning is always available.


  • BS in Technical discipline with 2 years applicable experience or
  • High School Diploma with 5 years directly applicable experience or
  • Associates Degree with 3 years directly applicable
