Project Apollo Profile

Over the next 2 ½ years, the Apollo program is replacing its financial systems with an enterprise wide implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP for core financials and payables, Oracle Cloud EPM for planning & budgeting, and Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse for data analytics.  Also included in the Apollo umbrella is a Treasury system replacement and consolidation/upgrade of the PowerPlan Fixed Assets, Tax and Leases application.  This program will also implement Exelon’s Integration competency standard for interfacing with boundary systems. 

 

Project Apollo – Interdependency IT Principal Project Manager

The Apollo Program recognizes that the Exelon technology landscape will be impacted by Fission company separation activities and other specific projects in flight or planned during the course of the Apollo Program execution. Interdependency management seeks to proactively identify and partner with external teams to address functional and technical risks.

 

The Interdependency IT Principal Project Manager will be part of the Apollo delivery team.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying & Tracking Potential Risk Areas to the Apollo Program
  • Prioritizing & Establishing Strategy for External Risks
  • Partnering with Apollo & External Stakeholders to Address Risks and Issues
  • This role will lead a team of internal employees and System Integrator partners to deliver the application.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • PMP Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline and typically 8 to 10 years in solid, diverse experience in IT
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of IT and business management and with vendors.
  • Experience with implementing technology projects (large scale preferred)
  • Experience with managing people – both internal and external.
  • Demonstrate leadership ability.
  • Strong judgment, excellent analytical ability and consulting skills.
  •  

    Preferred:

  • Experience with Oracle ERP, EPM, Fusion Analytics Warehouse application  (or another technology that is similar in size and nature)
  • Prosci ADKAR® certified
  • Agile experience and certifications
  • ITIL Certification
