Primary Purpose

Provide technical, logistical, and procedural support for core Talent Management, Organizational Development, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, programs, procedures, and processes. Working under direct supervision, provides entry-level duties in support of the above.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

1. Provide logistical, communications, and administrative support for employee and leadership development, talent management, and DEI processes and program offerings.

2. Under supervision, tactically execute the business talent review, succession planning and other talent management processes including planning, creating resources, drafting communications, scheduling sessions, advising colleagues and business leaders, designing and facilitating sessions, and completing data entry and reporting in order to support effective talent selection, development and management for assigned business unit. Assist HR colleagues and business unit leaders with completing plans to assess, manage, and develop talent.

3. Under supervision, manage the individual development planning process in assigned business unit (or assigned client groups). Build capability among leaders and employees to develop talent to support business strategy/goals, talent strategy/goals, and DEI strategy/goals. Provide coaching to HR colleagues and business leaders on the effective utilization of development tools such as job assignments, job rotations, assessments, development programs, training, and coaching and mentoring.

4. Serve as the organizational development point of contact for business unit clients. Work with business unit leaders to develop and implement programs and initiatives that respond to business critical needs. Manage the results planning process for the Employee Engagement Survey, Culture of Inclusion Survey, and other surveys, providing analysis and recommendations to business leaders to drive organizational improvements.

5. Collaborate with HR colleagues, business unit employees and leaders, and other stakeholders on the integration of DEI, talent management, leadership development, and other organizational culture priorities into existing processes, procedures, and programs.

Job Scope

Interact with line management, department heads, HR Business Partner, key managers, executives and all levels of employees across Exelon. Works under direct supervision of Senior Manager, DEI & Talent Management.


Minimum Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business or related field. 2-5 years of experience in HR-related functions that include training, leadership development, talent review, or Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion.

Ability to operate with minimal direction from manager.

Demonstrated orientation to understanding the business and business strategy, and the ability to apply talent management process and tools accordingly

Demonstrated personal drive and sense of urgency pushing self and others for results; delivers on results despite obstacles.


Preferred Qualifications

MA degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business or related field.
