If you’re an ambitious, high energy and self-motivated individual, an Energy & Comfort Sales Consultant career at BGE HOME could be for you!  Our Energy & Comfort Consultants meet with our company provided leads, in their homes, to get understanding of how our energy efficient Home Improvement products can serve their needs.  A wide array of energy efficient products such as Replacement Windows, Entry Door Systems, Attic Insulation, Vinyl Siding, & Roofing are included in our offering.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Making consultative In-Home sales presentations to company provided prospective customers
  • Aggressively follow up on all company issued opportunities
  • Creating and maintaining customer relationships throughout entire sales process
  • Meeting or exceeding sales quotas and pre-established budgets
  • Prepare and submit job packages electronically
  • Project a positive & professional image
  • Negotiating and closing sales

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ work-related sales experience (Home Improvement a plus)
  • Must be self-motivated, work independently and have flexible work schedule (nights & weekends required)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally
  • Basic computer skills
  • Maintain a professional appearance
