Constellation is headquartered in Baltimore, with offices in throughout the US.  We develop energy management strategies that help customers buy, manage, and consume energy.  Our retail unit is among the largest and most comprehensive in the industry.  Our wholesale business serves utilities, municipalities and co-ops and features world-class risk management and energy trading capabilities.


The Generation Strategy group is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Business Performance & Analytics team in support of Constellation’s retail business. The position will work closely with various parts of the organization including Sales, Operations, Credit, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and will be responsible for measuring business performance and advising retail C&I power and gas sales leadership on strategies to increase profits and productivity.  This position will also be IT liaison for the team.


  1. Develop and maintain the tools and logic used by the team in the various IT Systems and act as the point person for all IT related issues supporting Retail C&I Gas business.
  2. Identify areas where data is inadequate (either missing or poor Quality).
  3. Development of new PowerBI reports and Dashboards to enhance Sales understanding of the business.
  4. Use of Quantitative and Qualitative Analytics to solve business problems.

*Primary location is DePere, WI but we will also consider candidates for Baltimore, MD.*




  • Strong SQL skills to implement complex business rules within reporting and good understanding of backend system designs and Database management Skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle IT intensive projects.
  • Familiarity with building PowerBI Dashboards.
  • Strong Excel Skills to automate manual tasks using Macros.    
  • Self-Starter with ability to identify issues and opportunities within the business and develop relevant and impactful analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to Problem solve using Quantitative and Qualitative Analytic Skills.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills to translate analysis into key messages, develop the story behind the insights and findings, and present it to wide variety of audiences from sales support to executive leadership.

Preferred: -

  • 3-4 yrs. of industry experience.

Successful candidate will be highly motivated with a steep learning curve and a desire to succeed.
