 Manage the development and execution of marketing and customer education plans (e.g., for energy efficiency, demand response, programmatic and other marketing initiatives).  Objectives include building customer awareness and engagement, increase customer participation and market related products and services. Develop and execute on strategic customer engagement plans via all multiple channels including social media, digital, email, direct mail, advertising channels and other activation strategies.  Partner with numerous stakeholder groups to communicate initiatives and influence outcomes.  Work with multiple agencies and vendors to execute plans and accomplish objectives.  Strategic use of quantitative, qualitative, and other sources of market research to inform customer engagement and marketing strategies and associated tactics.

Develop and maintain an environment that promotes diversity, equity and inclusion as well as accountability and teamwork.  Establish, promote, and maintain a safe work environment.

 Leverage insights and data to identify potential new products and services and enhance customer engagement.



  • Manage the strategic planning, development and execution of customer awareness, engagement and education plans for programs. 
  • Lead a team and manage the development and execution of marketing plans for related products and services.
  • Leverage strategic marketing research initiatives that support marketing efforts for program drivers and success metrics. 
  • Create and sustain an environment that fosters corporate values. 
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality and productivity of employees through the Performance Management Process.
  • Counsel, develop, direct, evaluate and instruct employees. 


  • Work across multiple departments continuously including, T&D, Customer Operations, Communications External Affairs, Regulatory and Legislative affairs.  Position with interact frequently with executives to socialized plans and review results. 
  • Frequently lead meetings with executives to socialize plans and review results.
  • Lead groups of 5-8 FTES plus multiple contractors.           
  • Manage multi-million-dollar marketing budgets.
  • Partner with numerous stakeholder groups to influence outcomes and enhance relationships.    
  • Work with multiple vendors to execute work plan.




  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, engineering, or other relevant discipline or equivalent
  • Ten or more years of marketing or utility industry experience or equivalent. 
  • Strong leadership and strategic development skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and previous experience and relationships with external stakeholders
  • Excellent editing skills
  • Experience working with data analytics in design of marketing plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within established budgets and deliver promised results
  • Ability to communicate with and direct a wide variety of professionals ranging from engineers to marketing experts is required


  • Graduate degree in marketing, communications, business, engineering, marketing, or other relevant discipline.
