PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Assist with creating a programs recruitment strategy that maximizes best practices to attract and hire top talent. Coordinate recruitment activities, including logistics, training sessions, on-site interviews/offers, for events at universities, technical schools, junior colleges, diversity national conferences and military schools/classes. Provide direction and support to the organization in the areas of coop, intern undergrad and graduate level recruiting as applicable. Consult with Recruiting Manager, Programs, Nuclear University Relations Lead and Line Leaders to design and/or continually improve recruiting strategies and tactics, programs and processes designed to increase quality of hire, reduce recruiting expenses, and speed the acquisition of talent. Coordinate and provide logistics support for program events i.e., interview guides, collateral, booth materials, logistics calls, networking events. Maintain relationships with key external contacts. Ensure that company and departmental AA/EEO goals and objectives are incorporate into recruiting strategies.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Plan and execute events for recruiting programs including logistics calls, training sessions, on-site interviews, career fairs (25%)
  • Track and analyze metrics (25%)
  • Create and maintain Share Point site (25%)
  • Coordinate and help to staff information sessions, interview days, candidate screening efforts, and selection discussions while managing all logistical details (10%)
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, college/university representatives, campus diversity & leadership clubs and alumni, military contacts, diversity organization leaders (10%)
  • Research and maintain data on partner organizations (5%)

JOB SCOPE
  • This is a high-visibility position that requires the ability to lead and influence others without formal authority
  • Works under direct supervision.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, psychology or related field. 0-2 years relevant experience. Demonstrated understanding of recruiting, legal requirements for compliance in employment practices and applicant tracking Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal. Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data to insight and intelligence and present the state of the business from a staffing perspective to customers. Strong technical skills, including significant experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Flexibility to travel up to 40% of time during peak recruiting seasons and the ability to attend evening or weekend recruiting events; occasional overnight travel. Must be able to adapt to changing priorities.. Strong project management and problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment Flexibility to accommodate different personalities and work styles, team player. Ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability and confidence to manage very senior interactions and expectations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with co-op, intern programs.
  • Direct college recruiter experience is preferred
  • Experience designing and implementing staffing programs and strategies. Demonstrated business acumen, preferably within the Philips business segments is preferred.
