The Services Analyst - IT role will provide operational support for Mobile Dispatch applications utilized by all Exelon Utilities (EU) operating companies. The Services Analyst – IT will work directly with EU business partners, IT project teams, and the support service provider on the requirements to enhance and maintain Mobile Dispatch Systems (MDS) applications. This role must have demonstrated skills and expertise in managing activities related to planning, coordinating, facilitating, and maintaining IT services, portfolios, products, and processes. The Services Analyst – IT is responsible for understanding operational processes, analyzing business requirements, coordinating support service provider tasks, and engaging product vendors to monitor and track metrics and resolution of MDS application issues. 


- Perform, manage, and appropriately document work activities relating to IT service portfolios or products in support of EU business partners. 
- Collaborate with EU business partners to understand business processes and requirements for Mobile Dispatch System (MDS) operations. 
- Lead and manage IT activities required to meet service level agreements, including planning, prioritizing, and monitoring the tasks for support service providers.  
- Create and prepare documentation for products, services, and operational procedures to maintain compliance with IT requirements 
- Conduct business analysis tasks and create the requisite requirements/analysis documents and develop processes to enhance MDS operations.
- Facilitate MDS tasks, coordinate activities across multiple teams, develop incident and metrics reports, and deliver presentations to technical and business personnel.   
- Stay current on technologies and service offerings within the energy industry for mobile workforce management applications. 
- Pursue continuous improvement in technical knowledge, process analysis and design, project management, and communications (e.g., written, presentations, etc.) 

- Effectively interacts and communicates with vendors, business partners, and/or cross functional teams to lead, collaborate, and coordinate on business analysis and technical activities as required 
- Provides guidance to support service provider in developing, testing, and deploying application enhancements to the Mobile Dispatch platform and ensures alignment with business requirements and Exelon practices and procedures.
- Contributes expertise in the operation and maintenance of mobile workforce management applications and related host system integrations.
- Develops operational procedures, maintains IT asset inventory, monitors, and tracks operational performance metrics, and ensures compliance with IT requirements. 
- Proactively collaborates with peers and junior staff to help facilitate the development of enhanced skillsets and capabilities in an inclusive environment.



Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree and typically 2 to 5 years related experience in Information Technology or 6 to 9 equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of utility business practices and processes
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or related business/technical discipline -
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Knowledge and experience with the functions of the CGI PragmaCAD product or similar mobile workforce management applications
- Familiarity with electric and gas utility business practices and processes that employ mobile dispatch applications and systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related business/technical discipline and 3 – 3 years IT experience; or 6 – 9 years equivalent education and work experience. 
- Strong project management experience, including knowledge and experience with business analysis and vendor management.
- Knowledge of business practices and processes and associated tools/systems, such as ServiceNow, PPM, ALM.
- Knowledge and skills utilizing Microsoft Office, project management software, Visio, Power BI, and other desktop application technologies.  
- Knowledge and experience with IT infrastructure and application technologies, such as web, database (Oracle), SQL, and Microsoft Windows (desktop/server).
- Solid organizational, administrative, and business engagement skills
