PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Be part of a team that provides best-in-class professional services and adds exceptional value to Exelon’s family of companies. The Park is a function within the Office of the CIO (OCIO) that governs and oversees the delivery of IT services by strategic third parties to Exelon. We are looking for people to join our team who have a passion for improving the way we work, collaboration with strategic partners and internal stakeholders, and data and technology. We want to enable access to relevant, decision ready data on digital, self-service platforms.  

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Lead the operational activities associated with the metrics development and Project Independent Estimate Validation (PIE-V) processes in the Park.  Supervise Park metrics and PIE-V activities related to Exelon strategic projects and preparation of reports communicating Park specific components.  Support activities (coaching and facilitation) related to Park Value Management. Support the design, development and implementation of process improvements and digital technology and automation.  Maintain relationships with key Exelon and Partner Park Stakeholders.  Expected to work under minimal supervision.

Data Analytics and Reporting Services:

Lead the detailed analysis and preparation of reporting in support of activities for the Park which governs and oversees the contractual, financial, and operational performance of multiple strategic partners. Track, maintain, analyze, and provide current information related to operational performance. Develop and maintain various reports/charts/graphs. Assist others in the group in learning and performing this analysis.

Support of Contract and Performance Services:

Work collaboratively with Park Workstream Leaders on performance measures with related operational impacts e.g. KPIs/CPIs. Work in conjunction with internal organizations to ensure that appropriate mechanisms are in place to provide Park performance information as required. Oversee the consolidation of information related to Park projects and the analysis and generation of reports.

Coach and Facilitate Value Management Activities for the Park:

Coach and Support Individuals in matters related to Park Value Management activities including metrics and PIE-V.  Lead operational aspects of PIE-V process including relationship and contract management with third party provider.  This includes training others on Park related processes, templates and tools.

Tools and Reporting Automation and Continuous Improvement:

Work with internal and external organizations to develop tracking and reporting mechanisms to provide multi-dimensional views of performance and metrics.

Drive continuous improvement through the design, development and implementation of digital scorecards and dashboards.

Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and drive self-service reporting.

Provide guidance to others in the group who are learning new tools and reporting capability.

Qualifications

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum:

Preferred:

- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Information Technology) and 5-8 years related business experience

 

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to retrieve and analyze data in support of business needs.

 

-  Proficiency with standard Microsoft software applications (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)

 

-Intermediate/Advanced level experience with specialized business technologies (e.g. Power BI


- Ability to provide in-depth analysis, analytical and statistical problem solving, financial and business analysis.
 

- Coach / Help other team member learn practices related to metrics, PIE-V and vendor management

 

- Experience leading small teams of individuals in an operations environment.


- Customer driven with excellent oral and written communications skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 

- “Tech Savvy.”  Eager and able to leverage technology to solve business problems

 

-MBA or relevant advanced degree.

 

-Proficiency with Collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams, Yammer).

 

- Experience in Project Management across Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.

 

- Application experience with ServiceNow, database applications

 

-Experience with outsourcing agreements and associated operational processes, contract change requests, service level management

 

-Previous vendor management experience a plus

 

 

 

POSITION SCOPE

 

  • In lead capacity, oversees daily activities of 1-2 resources
  • Ability to engage with senior management (key manager, director) level members of the organization.
  • As assigned, works effectively with outsourcing partners
  • Performs this service in support of the The Park in the OCIO including related processes
