This position will be a part of a focused group contributing to Exelon's enterprise-wide technology evolution. You will be part of the team building the foundation for the continuous development and improvement of the internal and external customers experiences. This is an Individual Contributor role that will provide an opportunity to lead and mentor in various project efforts.

This role is highly focused on various customer testing platforms, with a concentration on Oracle's Customer Care and Billing Application.  You will perform activities related to all aspects of customer system testing through the analysis of high-quality solutions, products and processes.  Additional work around documentation, reporting and requirements gathering and documenting practices and methodologies will be required.

This is a fast-paced team with the potential for days when we, as a team, may be required to work extended hours and/or shift work to support our effort and meet assignment deliverables.  This doesn't mean we won't take the time to celebrate our victories, incorporate fun days to volunteer, and fun team building events.  There will be opportunity to work across teams and take on new tasks outside of the routine work that will give you the opportunity to grow and learn new skills.

Rutherford Business Center-South (RBC-South) in Baltimore, MD is the primary location.  Travel to this location is expected post-pandemic.


  • A team player who puts the success of the team first
  • Analyze user stories and/use cases/ requirements for validity and feasibility
  • Create and execute test plans
  • Execute all levels of testing (Sprint, E2E, Operational Readiness and Regression)
  • Assist with our testing teams' transition into automation testing
  • Perform database testing and querying
  • Detect, track and resolve software defects and inconsistencies
  • Work with other team members to determine how to achieve team goals through a clear understanding of business needs and expected outcomes
  • Lead IT project groups and associated system integrators to deliver projects of medium to high complexity
  • Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with business and IT partners and other stakeholders.  Communicate status to key stakeholders as needed.
  • Enhance, maintain or support existing products and processes to meet team goals and metrics
  • Maintain current business knowledge/acumen, including application of technology solutions to deliver business results
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements associated with the platform to support effortless customer experiences
  • Develop and maintain technical capabilities within supporting discipline or function (including best practices)
  • Review estimates of specific solutions to ensure time, cost and design meets the needs of the business.
  • Participates in strategic product planning meetings for insight on risk, cost vs. benefit, impact
  • Operate utilizing standard processes as defined within the Management Model 
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned



  • Utilize understanding of customer's business needs to determine requirements
  • Applies technical expertise to plan, design, build or support required products and processes
  • Help other team members learn appropriate theories, practices and principles that relate to their skill set portfolio




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 2 - 5 years of experience in development or business analysis or product management or 6 - 9 years of relevant work experience.
  • Solid communications skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to work with remote team members and/or stakeholders
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members and business stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of business practices and processes in Oracle CC&B
  • Strong understanding of, and demonstrated ability to implement and utilize Agile
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analysis ability
  • Experience leading small IT Projects or sub-teams and knowledge of IT project management in correlation to the product line
  • Manage software support contracts for area of responsibility
  • Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners


  • Experience working within an Agile methodology
  • Experience working with Azure Dev Ops
  • Experience working with Power BI
  • Strong knowledge of business practices and processes in Oracle CC&B system specific to Revenue Management
  • Strong knowledge of corporate testing tools and overall testing in a matrixed environment
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases, SQL Developer, HP's PPM/EDMs/PCRs
  • Utilize understanding of customer's business needs to determine requirements
  • Previous Utility experience
