Job Description


MBA Intern:
Exelon (PECO) is currently seeking highly motivated students for internships.  Interns will work on projects designed to help them gain real-world, hands-on experience working independently under an assigned supervisor. This position is in support of PECO’s Customer Care Center’s Projects & Analytics team.

Position may be required to work up to 40 hours per week. The duration of the internship is 6 months+.


 Major Accountabilities:

  • Proficiency in Excel, Access
  • Proficiency in querying databases - Hyperion, SQL, OBIEE
  • Proficiency in Data Visualization Tools - Power BI preferred, QlikView, Tableau
  • Short term and Long Range Business Planning.  Business Complex modeling, forecasting, trending.
  • Business Case development
  • Operational performance management - Statistical information to ensure effective Operational management for Business Operation. 
  • Track Maintain and analyze KPIs.
  • Cost Management
  • Develop, organize and present detailed performance reports for internal and external use. 
  • Develop, implement, evaluate and lead projects or initiatives.  Process improvement
  • Utility Knowledge & Experience helpful but not required
  • Maintenance work for AMI / AMR gas and electric meters, this includes changing electric meters, and gas modules.


 Position Requirements:

  1. Currently in MBA Program
  2. Minimum GPA: Cumulative 3.2
  3. Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  4. Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  5. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  6. Must live within a reasonable distance from the assigned District Office (2301 Market St, Philadelphia PA 19103)
