This position will be a part of a focused group contributing to Exelon’s enterprise-wide technology evolution. You will be part of the team building the foundation for the continuous development and improvement of the internal and external customers experiences. This is a senior individual contributor role that will provide an opportunity to lead and mentor in various project efforts.

This role is highly focused on IT change management across our customer organization.  You will perform activities related to all aspects of IT change management during the implementation of a new customer information system, Oracle’s Customer Care and Billing System, across two large utilities.   Additional work around documentation, reporting, communicating the impacts of implementation and retiring systems, and documenting practices and methodologies will be required.  This person will be a member of a project change management team interfacing with many internal and external teams

This is a fast-paced team with the potential for days when we, as a team, may be required to work extended hours and/or shift work to support our effort and meet assignment deliverables.  This doesn’t mean we won’t take the time to celebrate our victories, incorporate fun days to volunteer, and fun team building events.  There will be opportunity to work across teams and take on new tasks outside of the routine work that will give you the opportunity to grow and learn new skills.  Our team is at a pivotal moment as we embark on this truly transformational opportunity, and we’re excited for the change.   • A team player who puts the success of the team first
  • Interface with many Exelon teams from IT and the Business to document, understand and align project tasks and responsibilities around integrated systems.
  • Interface with key Exelon partners to document, understand and align project tasks and responsibilities around changing systems.
  • Work with the project scrum teams to integrate cohesive user stories and test cases.
  • Look for ways to automate redundant testing tasks across all aspects of the project.
  • Interface with project deployment team to align deployment tasks for large scale project go-live
  • Work with other team members to determine how to achieve team goals through a clear understanding of business needs and expected outcomes
  • Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with business and IT partners and other stakeholders. Communicate status to key stakeholders as needed.
  • Enhance, maintain, or support existing products and processes to meet team goals and metrics
  • Maintain current business knowledge/acumen, including application of technology solutions to deliver business results.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements associated with the platform to support effortless customer experiences
  • Develop and maintain technical capabilities within supporting discipline or function (including best practices)
  • Review estimates of specific solutions to ensure time, cost and design meets the needs of the business.
  • Participates in strategic product planning meetings for insight on risk, cost vs. benefit, impact
  • Operate utilizing standard processes as defined within the Management Model
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 5 - 8 years of experience (product development, product management, business analysis) or 9 - 12 years relevant work experience
  • Excellent communications skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to work with remote team members and/or stakeholders
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members and business stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analysis ability
  • Experience leading small IT Projects or sub-teams and knowledge of IT project management in correlation to the product line
  • Manage software support contracts for area of responsibility
  • Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners
  • Team-player who can also work independently.


  • Experience working within an Agile methodology
  • Strong knowledge of business practices and understanding of customer information systems
  • Understanding of system integration technologies
  • Utilize understanding of customer's business needs to determine requirements
  • Previous Utility experience
