PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position works closely with our Recruiting team and hiring managers to help us reach our most important goal: achieving excellence in hiring by providing a seamless candidate experience from beginning to end. This position requires self-motivation and initiative, ability to multi-task while meeting multiple tight deadlines, excellent organization skills, detail orientation, and the capacity to learn quickly.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Coordination and administration of required pre-employment testing and assessments. In-Person proctoring required for EEI (Edison Electric Institute) standardized testing as well as company specific standardized testing sessions. High volume or mass testing scheduling may be required for some Operating Companies (OpCo's).

Candidate interview schedule management for the TA team (phone screen scheduling and on-site scheduling and logistics). This may include coordination of candidate travel (when required) and providing logistics and support for Hiring Managers, Candidates, Recruiters and where required Human Resources Business Partners.

Initiation and management of all background checks.

Ongoing candidate communication efforts throughout the recruiting and on-boarding process. This includes (but is not limited to) providing information/updates related to; candidate testing and assessment processes, the interview process, updates during the onboarding and background process, start date coordination and first day letter with logistics of start.

Reconciliation of the department expenses - supply card for all candidate travel, testing and assessment cost and additional costs incurred for recruiting expenses.

Assist with scheduling and all logistics of some company-wide and or OpCo specific recruiting events.

Accountability for ordering and maintaining all business unit specific recruiting materials and supplies.

General day-to-day administrative duties, and ongoing interaction with the Service Center and other OpCo and Corporate TA teams as necessary.


POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum:
High School diploma or equivalent.

2 to 5 years of work experience. 

Prior administrative support experience. Strong scheduling skills, particularly when juggling multiple busy calendars.

Exceptional communication skills, with a variety of audiences, both oral and written.

Very strong documentation and organizational skills, and excel at prioritizing when given multiple projects.

Experience in a fast-paced environment and balancing many different projects and timelines.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (Taleo, Workday, iCIMS, etc…).

Positive attitude and work well as part of a team.

Strong self-motivation and time management skills.
