Job Duties:

Operate and Maintain the Oil Water Separator System.

Inspect and Maintain the Benning Site drains.

Inspect and Maintain the Barrel Storage area.

Inspect and Maintain the Benning Storage Dump area.

Obtain water sample and deliver to lab for analysis.

Restock Emergency Oil Spill storage room.

Inspect and Maintain Hazardous Waste trailer.

Inspect and Maintain Asbestos Trailer

Inspect and Maintain Waste Water Pits.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Possess knowledge of the Oil/Water Separation System, and its impacts on the environment.

Possess a valid motor vehicle operator license.

Ability to obtain a Fork Lift Certification and operate the forklift.

Ability to operate a backhoe.

Ability to operate various power tools, small hand tools, and water testing devices, including instruments of measure.

Possess general knowledge of Company safety regulations and First Aid.

Ability to read, write and speak English.

 

Physical Requirements:

Large amounts of outdoor work with continuous physical activity, sometimes strenuous in nature, Some overtime required.

Activity – pulling, lifting, carrying and pushing various materials and equipment which weighing as much as 100lbs.

Climbing in and out of manholes, stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
