Exelon Nuclear is currently looking for Electrical Maintenance Technicians/ Industrial Electricians across our Illinois Nuclear plants. 

Nuclear IL locations:

Byron Station- Byron, IL (Western, IL)

Quad Cities Station– Cordova, IL (Western, IL/Iowa Border)

LaSalle Station – Marseilles, IL

Braidwood Station – Braceville, IL

Dresden Station – Morris, IL

Job Description:

Repair and maintain electrical equipment such as motors, generators commutators, circuit breakers, controls and relays, switches.  Assist electrical mechanics of higher classification in the performance of their duties.  Make routine inspections of electrical equipment during outages and report conditions found. 

Qualifications

Position Requirements: 

• High School diploma

• Ability to pass pre-employment testing (TECH)

• Ability to work different shifts
   
• Ability to receive unescorted Nuclear access

• Associates degree in a technical field

OR

• Two years minimum related Electrical military experience

OR

• Two years minimum experience as a journeyperson Electrician

OR

• Two years minimum of equivalent journeyperson Electrician experience in industrial employment
