PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Manage the personnel and all activities of the Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Engineering Department, including leading technical, legislative and regulatory efforts pertaining to DER, operationalizing and scaling the use of emerging DER technologies, and supports others including Capacity Planning, Legal, Regulatory in ComEd’s DER integration strategy. Develop and implement ComEd strategic DER roadmap to ensure system resiliency and reliability to enable sustainability goals.

Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- At least 10 years of industry experience including at least 4 years as a supervisor or manager.
- Broad knowledge of company, department policies, objectives, strategies, and goals; planning role; applicable governmental laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of regulatory issues.
- Proven leadership ability in a high performance culture.
- Demonstrated business acumen, customer awareness and ability to create value.
