This E03 Sr. Systems Engineer position  is critical to ensuring the operational stability of Exelon’s production environment on the Office 365/Mobility/Digital Employee Experience team within Exelon’s Technical Operations team. 
The position will directly support the E04 IT Manager in the centralized operational support of the O365 platform for approximately 50,000 end users. The O365 team works across Platform Services teams to ensure systems are stable and secure. This position will be focused as a subject matter expert on support of added O365 feature additions that support Exelon’s integrated management system for day to day productivity, collaboration and communication with an added focus on Teams Real Time Telephony and Video capability within the O365/Teams environment. 
O365 and mobility support encompasses the production support of the full Office 365 platform that includes 15 feature areas with additional features being added routinely. 
o Understanding and expertise of the Exelon architecture for O365/Teams including both on-premise and cloud components. 
o Ensuring MS environment is stable; escalating to MS with premier support as necessary 
o Monitoring environment for anomalies within our Exelon environment to proactively remediate internal issues with O365 platform toolset. 
o Utilization of various monitoring tools to ensure identification of issues in environment as soon as possible such as: 
o Nectar 
o Unimax 2nd Nature 
o MS Administrative portal 
o Providing end user support when necessary to accommodate O365 collaboration needs 
o Engaging with O365 and Service Desk teams as Tier 2 support to ensure O365 collaboration capabilities are functioning as expected 
The O365 platform has become an integral component in the work remote environment and continues to require vigilant oversight to maintain the level of productivity our users deserve. 

Teams (Teams phone, Hub, Video Conference, Chat/IM) 50,000 users 
Exchange/Outlook email (38,000 active mailboxes, 6200 shared mailboxes, 1500 room mailboxes) 
Office 365 products suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Planner, Delve) – 48,300 licensed users 


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 5-8 plus years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Knowledge of the Utilities Business, including the regulations associated with it is strongly preferred.
Software support experience primarily across the full Office 365 platform.
Prior Technical Lead experience is preferred.
Excellent communications skills - Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).
Understanding of change management principles associated with new technology implementations.
Demonstrated leadership ability
Understanding of project management principles

Maintain deep knowledge of technology and its application across Exelon 
Promote knowledge via seminars, presentations and publications within IT and Exelon 
Participate in technological innovation to drive new business opportunities and solve complex business problems 
Maintain software applications that support business operations within area of responsibility
Work under minimal supervision.
