PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Planner Analyst will collaborate with key stakeholders and Sr. Planner to create
transparency into portfolio financials and overall health, support planning and
execution of work. While providing financial analysis to help with investment
decisions based on strategic alignment of both Baseline and Project financials.
POSITION
SCOPE
- Support the financial
management process, including analysis of actual results to forecast and budget
for labor/non-labor Baseline and Project Portfolios
- Assist in annual
Baseline & Project LRP build and variance analysis in addition to
supporting challenge sessions
- Support preparation management
level reporting and presentations (i.e. MRMs)
- Analyze resource usage
against budget and past trends
- Support project
authorization process in various formats
- Identify new cost
optimization opportunities and risks
- Oversee KPI
development, tracking, and reporting
- Assist in the
processing of key financial functions in support of Sr Planners
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree and 2
– 5 years of experience in IT and/or a business area working with forecast and
budget for labor/non-labor Baseline,
- Experience
in Finance and Business Planning activity
- Demonstrated
planning skills with delivery of long and short-term goals
- Ability
to perform work with minimal guidance and direction
- Demonstrates
analytical and problem-solving ability.
Preferred:
|
- Bachelor's degree. (Finance/Accounting with an IT class)
- Working Knowledge of
Hyperion, Peoplesoft, ServiceNow and WPT is a plus
