Job Summary:

Position involves data entry and processing equipment and parts in the company’s systems applications. Duties will include monitoring and correcting physical and logical inventory levels. The Sr. Clerk will provide support to Warranty & Billing Clerks-Returns Personnel, Material Handlers, Supervisor Inventory Control & Logistics, and management as necessary to support Inventory Control Operations. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Function):

• Daily receiving of parts and equipment into computer systems for proper receipt and bill off to process install jobs.
• Marks parts used on jobs and submits completed jobs through the computer system for billing.
• Performs part returns as necessary during peak periods and absences of Warranty & Billing Clerks.
• Assists with month-end closing.
• Helps with year-end physical inventory and monitors inventory levels and accuracy by performing cycle counts and making system/inventory corrections.
• Assists with material handling responsibilities/receiving of parts during peak volume periods and absences.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge:

• Ability to work with various computer systems with speed and accuracy
• Data entry and computer knowledge a plus

Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, with all levels of management. 
• Capable of working independently
• Problem solving and investigative skills 

Education/Experience:

• High School graduate with a minimum of one-year data entry experience.

Competencies:

• Computer literate with established data entry skills.  High level of accuracy required.

Other (Including physical requirements, working conditions, etc.):

• Must have a valid Maryland driver’s License.
• Physical ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
