The EWS Enterprise Platform Services team's IT manager position is currently vacant.  This team support projects across the Exelon organization (EWS, Exelon Utilities, Generation, Commercial) for integration providing staffing, architecture, technology platforms, design, governance,  and general support. In addition, some IT operations aspects associated with the integration platforms, with regards to projects for platform life cycle management, and upgrades. The Integration / Middleware technologies  supported by the team include but not limited to Boomi, Apigee, Fusion, Tibco, Informatica, IBM MQ Series, Web Sphere, and Layer 7. In addition, the IT Manager, is responsible for the staffing / capacity management, project estimating, managing the teams' budget, growing the team, closely working with solution architects and transitioning a project to the operational team. 

The EWS Enterprise Project / Platform Services IT manager:

Leads a team of 10 - 15 employees and contractors as required to fill project roles

Plans and manages a baseline budget of approximately $4,000,000 Labor and non-Labor

Is the key stakeholder supporting all project releases, as well as the key liaison for multiple projects across Exelon.

Essential Job Functions outlined below:

Manage coordination and preparation for any Integration Technology Projects across Exelon

Roadmap the Life cycle management / upgrades for integration technologies used across Exelon.

Work across Exelon BUs developing the Long-Range Plan to support the Integration roadmap projects across Exelon BUs .

Manage and facilitate work intake, prioritization, coordination, and reporting of metrics/status on activities pertaining to initiatives 

Evaluate performance and provide coaching for IT personnel.  Promote diversity and foster teamwork, collaboration, and a learning organization

Qualifications

Minimum:

BS in Computer Science or related field

8-10 years’ experience in Application Integration Development
