PRIMARY DUTIES AND
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- As
a Sr Service Analyst IT responsible for working with Corporate Legal
business partners on technology needs. Key areas of focus will include
Operations / Production support for applications and Technology Roadmap
- Responsible
for engaging with
- Corp Legal business stakeholders
- Managed Service vendor team / Software Product vendors
for application support services
- Internal IT stakeholders for Architecture reviews,
Infrastructure, etc
- Perform,
manage and appropriately document work activities relating to systems,
sub-projects, or processes utilizing ITIL concepts.
- For operations and
application maintenance and support: plan and lead IT activities
required to manage service level agreements.
- For enhancements:
plan, analyze, and deliver high quality software solutions in accordance
with IT project management standards.
- Work
closely with business partners to understand requirements and guide
application systems evolution.
- Assist
in creation of documentation for systems and services.
- Use
best practices to improve systems and services provided to business unit
partners, and monitor adherence within Team/Managed Service Provider to
standards as defined within the Management Model.
- Maintain
and enhance engagement with business and IT partners and other
stakeholders
- Establish
positive team environment by proactively assisting and training less
experienced personnel.
- Provide
performance and development feedback as required
- Maintain
technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function.
POSITION SCOPE:
- Utilizes understanding of customer's business
needs, processes, and workflows to determine requirements for an integrated
identity and access management capability
- Applies technical expertise to plan, analyze,
maintain or support required systems and processes
- Helps
other team members learn appropriate theories, practices and principles
that relate to their skill set portfolio
- As assigned,
manage working relationship with outsourcing partners
- Expected to
work under minimal supervision
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science or related discipline and typically 5 to 8 years relevant
experience in application development or operations support; or equivalent
combination of education and work experience
- Experience with large
enterprise-wide systems design, development, and support
- Strong system
architecture skills, with the ability to view the overall picture of an
application as well as integrations
- Ability to work with
business users to define requirements and translate into system design
- Familiarity with ITIL
concepts of change management, release management, patch and vulnerability
management, and incident response processes and protocols
- Experience working with
managed service sub-teams and knowledge of IT project management
- Familiarity with
principles of Application Portfolio Management (APM), including business
analysis, work planning, quality controls, operations and support, and project
management.
- Familiarity with
infrastructure technologies: Active Directory, Exchange, Mainframe, Network
Topologies, Job Scheduling, event monitors, Interface models (HTTP, SOA)
- Strong problem solving
and analysis ability
- Excellent
communications skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with remote
teams
PREFFERED:
- Experience in Legal Technology areas
- Experience in Matter and Case Management software (e.g.
Simple Legal, Team Connect, etc)
- Experience in Document Management Software (e.g. OpenText
eDocs, iManage, etc)
- Experience in Electronic Discovery (eDiscovery) products (E.g.
Clearwell, Relativity, Exterro, Microsoft Security Compliance Center)
- Knowledge of Cloud-based systems like Azure, AWS includes
cloud-hosted Applications, technologies, and methodologies
- Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server and other databases
and related querying and reporting tools
- Understanding of Windows & Unix (Solaris, Linux)
technologies, including similarities and differences
- Experience in regulatory compliance environments such as:
Sarbanes-Oxley, NERC CIP, HIPAA, PCI
- Experience with complex, integrated, large-scale Enterprise
systems; understanding of applications architectures for “a system of systems”,
cloud and on-prem systems, workflows and business processes.
- Deep experience with application software development
lifecycle models, both waterfall and iterative.
