PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Transactional Sales Representative is responsible for managing solution sales offering for existing EME and C&I customers as well as acquiring new business primarily through the EME Partner Channel.  Deepening and growing the relationships with assigned EME channel partners will be a primary responsibility through consistent and efficient processes.  Have a basic understanding of the solutions platform and can position the various products and service with customers and partners, in an effective manner. Selling and support activity occurs from a defined office location, generally via telephone or e-mail; periodic in-person channel partner visits will be needed, but in-person customer visits are not an expectation for this role.  There will be an emphasis on efficiency, volume and throughput.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES


Perform outbound phone calls and outbound email correspondence with existing EME channel partners and customers to enhance customer retention and strengthen relationship. 


Respond to inbound calls and inbound email correspondence promptly. 


Utilize multiple systems to Price and contract multiple opportunities and scenarios per day.  Understanding of pricing components and impact on overall price and contract.


Develop a channel partner rapport to establish long term business relationship and provide an effortless experience for the channel partner through superior service and response times. 


Work within EME team and other functional areas across the business to resolve customer issues.


Clearly articulate Constellation’s value proposition. 


Have a comprehensive understanding of the solutions platform and position the various products and service with customers and partners, in an effective manner.


Communicate and share best practices with teammates on a regular basis.


Ability to meet financial and non-financial goals.

Qualifications

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

 

Minimum:

-Required: Bachelors Degree

-Minimum 2 years of Channel sales experience.

-Have demonstrated a strong proficiency in navigating CRM type systems.
-Customer Focused

-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Self motivated, with a sense of urgency & proactive attitude.

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize work.

-Strong problem solving skills.
-Excellent organizational skills.

-Must be computer proficient: Proficient in Microsoft suite of products (word, outlook, excel, power point) with an emphasis on Excel

-Able to be a team player, consistent with Constellation Energy values

-Demonstrated ability to close transactions and achieve sales targets


Preferred:

- Knowledge of and experience in Energy Markets

- Sales experience in Energy Efficiency Solutions; including lighting, mechanical systems, VFDs, and controls

- Energy Industry Experience
