Plan and manage resources, finances, technology products, integration applications, support, direction, solutions and services within the Integration Application and Platform area in Information Technology. Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with clients. Participate in developing, maintaining and implementing strategy/policy. Manage resources, and system integrators on integration projects, budgets, change management and risk. 






Lead and manage IT staff / resources with regards to but not limited to schedule, forecast allocation, budget, growth, direction and leadership:


Manage IT operations ensuring that all the Integration / Middleware technologies application integrations and platform (Tibco, Informatica, IBM MQ Series, Web Sphere, Fusion, Layer 7, Dell Boomi, Apigee) are current, operational, governed, patched, secure, and available.


Responsible for the SPP team supporting the application integrations and platform technologies. This application portfolio includes: All integration technologies (Tibco, Informatica, IBM MQ Series, Web Sphere, Fusion, Layer 7, Dell Boomi, Apigee) supporting all the business units EU, Commercial, GenCo, and EWS


Application integration, operational, governance, and platform support for all integration technologies and associated applications across Exelon


Manage resources, and system integrators on integration projects, budgets, change management and risk. 


Plans, forecast and manages a baseline budget of approximately $2.0 Labor, and approximately $5.7 in non-Labor


Manage coordination and preparation for any Integration Technology platform new technologies and upgrades to the EWS Project Review Committee and Long-Range Planning support processes across Exelon BUs. 


Manage and facilitate work intake, prioritization, coordination, and reporting of metrics/status on activities pertaining to initiatives (Projects staffed, Operational Management, Patching, Disaster Recovery (DR), Application Integration Releases, Architecture Management Compliance (AMC), Application Portfolio Management (APM) Attestation), across Exelon


Evaluate performance and provide coaching for IT personnel. Participate in career development and succession planning processes. Promote diversity and foster teamwork, collaboration, and a learning organization. Provide input on development and retention processes for IT employees.


Operate utilizing standard processes as defined within the Management Model. Oversee process improvement efforts and ensure adoption of standard processes and procedures that deliver sustainable top quartile cost and performance levels.


Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with business and IT partners. Communicate status to key stakeholders on a regular basis.


Maintain current business knowledge/acumen, including application of technology solutions to deliver business results.


Key stakeholder supporting all maintenance releases, as well as supporting multiple projects across Exelon







-Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline and typically 8 to 10 years’ experience in (IT Applications, integration and support, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.


Experience leading and managing support and IT projects or sub-teams



Appropriate technical/functional skills:


Experience and/or working knowledge of integration technologies (Tibco, Informatica, IBM MQ Series, Web Sphere, Fusion, Layer 7, Dell Boomi, Apigee) and  with Oracle, MS SQL, PL/SQL, Data analysis, Excel, PowerPoint.


Experience leading and managing technical personnel.


- Strong judgment and excellent analytical ability.


- Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of IT and business management and with vendors.


- Experience managing million $ budgets for functional area of responsibility.




-Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline and typically 5 to 8 years


-Utilizes understanding of customer's business needs to determine requirements and help set direction.


-Determines and helps others learn appropriate theories, practices and principles that relate to their skill set portfolio and related sciences and disciplines.


-Makes judicious decisions in familiar and new situations and contributes to strategic decisions.


-Represents business client’s perspective with IT team.


-Dimensions: Span of control (generally 10), level of budget control, technical/business complexity, risk, criticality of assignment to business


-Budget Management specific to area of accountability.


-Operates independently with little or no supervision.
