PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Manage specific Radwaste / Chemistry programs as assigned. It involves managing the radwaste program, maintaining regulatory requirements, writing reports, managing special projects, training personnel, ODCM program, and participating in the GSEP and Duty rotation.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage Radwaste projects and programs, which entails the review and analysis of plant data for processed water, plant walkdowns, and participation in troubleshooting plans.
- Manage the ODCM Program, which includes all reports generated and maintaining program requirements.
- Communicate with station management and other station departments with respect to Radwaste issues.
- Maintain Radwaste reports and vendor oversight and provide necessary updates to vendor procedures, and station processes as required.
- Receive &#CD# provide Radwaste related training, which includes preparing and delivering lesson plans. Observe and participate in classroom training activities.
- Participate in GSEP and duty rotations. Subject to call out as required in support of station requirements.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum:
-4 year technical degree and 2 years plant experience
or
- Achieved Chemistry Technician qualification with a minimum of 6 years plant experience
or
-2 year technical degree and 2 years of Radwaste experience
Preferred:
- Chemist /CE Degree
-2 years Radwaste experience

Qualifications

POSITION SCOPE
- Individual contributor position. Manage, monitor, drives performance changes for specific programs as assigned. Ensures department participation in training and GSEP. Communicates status of Radwaste programs within Station organization. Manages special projects. Participates in the Duty rotation.
