PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Marketing & Sales Support Manager – Exelon Clearsight is a strategic partner who collaborates with the product development team, sales team and the operations team along with the overall marketing organization. The primary responsibilities include communicating our products’ value to the market through marketing tools, digital platforms and campaigns and being a strategic partner to sales. Focused efforts on developing branding and cross-sell initiatives to meet revenue targets. The role has management and oversight responsibility for the Marketing and sales support team. This role reports to the Exelon Clearsight CEO.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Develops and executes overarching marketing strategy that focuses on segment growth goals and connects all marketing and customer activities across product marketing efforts.
  2. Works directly with Market Segment Managers and Operations Leaders on marketing strategy including branding and digital marketing. Promotes and differentiates our products and services to customers. Includes cross sell of products and services.
  3. Work with the Market Segment Managers, branding, and communication teams for industry events, speaking opportunities, customer events, ExelonClearsight.com and social media amplification
  4. Supports sales group on reporting and bid support to include owning the CRM, tracking sales and marketing metrics, document template, and providing additional pre-sales support as necessary.
  5. Attends strategic business reviews and/or other sales leadership planning meetings with a customer focused marketing objective. Coordinate with Operations Director for connecting customer, sales, and marketing efforts.
  6. Develop and maintain the overall marketing team Scorecard, to include metrics and measurement

Qualifications

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
  • Minimum of 8 to 10+ years in Marketing, marketing management, product management, email and campaign management planning or communications.
  • Proven leadership, credibility, interpersonal and team skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; superior interpersonal ability; tact and diplomacy.
  • A proven track record of vision, creative thinking, and coordination of complex programs, including large-scale marketing automation.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure with external and internal partners at all levels.
  • Executive presence and broad experience interacting with senior executives.
  • Ability to develop and implement short-and-long-term goals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Preferred:
  • MBA preferred
  • Goal orientation with a high level of energy, enthusiasm and dedication to brand vision and community stewardship preferred.
  • Ability to effectively plan, focus and execute innovative/creative partnerships preferred
