Note:  Position will be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Defines the scope of the restoration work to be performed on the job sites in accordance with state and local municipality regulations. 

- Coordinates jobsite meetings with the appropriate governmental inspectors 
(i.e. county, city, State) and paving contractors supervision.

- Inspects quality of work performed by Restoration Contractor.

- Performs Contractor Safety audits to ensure compliance with all State and local municipalities safe work practices. 

- Monitors and confirms Daily Contractor Field reports for accuracy and proper payment.

- Resolves discrepancies with paving contractor’s supervisors. 

- Investigates and resolves concerns from various governmental road inspectors and customer Inquiries generated by the Customer Call Center. 

- Ensures all Customer Inquiries are completed in the allotted timeframe. 

- Advises customer of planned remedial action.

- Reports results to appropriate Company or governmental agency.

- Conducts compaction inspections to meet Company standards. 

- Knowledge of common excavation practices:  PA One Call Law, PECO Rules to Dig By

Willing to work over entire PECO service territory:  Delaware County, Chester County, Your County, Montgomery County, Bucks County and Philadelphia County



Qualifications



POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum: 

- Thorough knowledge of PECO’s environmental and safety practices, and a working knowledge of paving operations (including macadam, concrete and landscape repairs), standards and materials. 

- Working knowledge of City, County and State paving and safety specifications for the service territory. 

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, contract, assign, manage and inspect paving work. 

- Demonstrated ability to interpret construction drawings, make arithmetic calculations and complete work reports. 

- Demonstrated ability to operate personal computers, and associated company programs and software (including MS Office, WMS, CIMS, Asset Suite 8, GFR Query). 

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, and recognize, anticipate and resolve problems and customer concerns

- Ability to meet company driving standards, including a valid drivers license

- Over four years’ experience in craft discipline associated with construction management and or paving restoration.
