The Office of the CIO (CIO) is charged with leading the IT transformation and building an organization that ensures the standardization of processes and tools, that enable the effective and efficient delivery of IT solutions to our business partners. The Service Portfolio Management area plays an instrumental role with driving IT wide service/application standards, processes, tools and governance that consistently deliver the desired business outcomes.

 

The Lead Analyst will primarily be responsible for providing transparency to the overall health of our application portfolios and associated infrastructure services. They will support common standards across multiple areas of IT, provide functional support for tools, provide data analytics for relevant KPI reporting, support standards to ensure alignment with business objectives and enable transparency to the total portfolio of IT investments.  

 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

 

Support governance of application portfolios and provide transparency to the health of the portfolio

 

-Team with application support teams for the long-range, emergent and operational plans

 

-Work with Management on peer group engagement and alignment

 

-Create and report on portfolio metrics including dashboard reporting for portfolio health

 

-Enable proactive risk mitigation

 

 

 

Provide functional support for application portfolio management including training and change management with a focus on ADKAR methodologies

 

-Work across IT business unit teams to provide support for portfolio management in HP APM and ServiceNow APM

 

-Develop and maintain training modules for on demand consumption

 

-Initiate and execute on intra departmental communication and work activities including work across the Office of the CIO

 

-Provide support for tickets from application portfolio owners

 

 

 

Develop, maintain and support processes to effectively monitor, assess and evaluate performance adherence to standards

 

-Work with Manager to support portfolios data attestation process

 

-Develop KPI and dashboard reports

 

-Maintain process for quality assurance and process audits

 

-Write technical processes for service and application portfolio management

 

 

 

Work with Manager to support application and associated service management responsibilities

 

-Help develop and maintain processes and tools for application service portfolio management

 

-Support Service Portfolio Management Peer Group activities

 

-Support Portfolio Management community of practice activities


Qualifications

 POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

 

 

-Typically, 5 or more years of experience in developing IT processes

 

-Experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow for application portfolio management

 

-Demonstrated customer engagement skills and experience leading teams and people through change

 

-Excellent consultative skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. Advanced interpersonal skills, communications skills, and presentation skills

 

-Demonstrated ability to present and discuss complex technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding and approval

 

-Undergraduate Degree is a must

 

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:



Graduate degree in Information Systems or related discipline or MBA

 

PowerBI experience
