PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION


Execute IT Talent & Training Team key administrative communication, process documentation and financial activities and supports by implementing and maintaining those solutions, products and processes under the guidance of a Lead Analyst or Manager. Design and implement basic organization development programs as needed.  Support the IT Talent Manager’s supervision of the represented IT clerical staff to efficiently and timely complete work initiatives, maintain and to deliver optimum quality of service to our IT customers. Support the administrative aspects of IT interns as directed. Independence level: Work under general supervision.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES


Execute IT Talent & Training Team key administrative communication, process documentation and maintenance as well as the team’s financial activities; support by implementing and maintaining those solutions, products and processes under the guidance of a Lead Analyst or Manager. 35%


Design and implement basic organization development programs as needed to enhance The IT Experience including building a diverse and inclusive culture. 25%


Support the IT Talent Manager’s supervision of the represented IT clerical staff to efficiently and timely complete work initiatives, maintain and to deliver optimum quality of service to our IT customers. Examples of this includes assisting/training of clerical staff in process documentation, LMS activities, etc. 15%


Support the administrative aspects of IT interns as directed. 5%


Facilitate open and honest communication with IT Talent & Training’s stakeholders.  Assure that upward communication is integrated into the process.  Develop methods to assess communication effectiveness and implement continuous improvement activities. 5%


Maintain engagement with IT partners and business. 5%


Proactively build business/IT knowledge to provide solutions. 5%


Utilize best practices to improve products and services. Apply and verify compliance to standards as defined within the Management Model. 5%

 

Qualifications

 POSITION SPECIFICATIONS


Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance and 3 to 5 years related experience in various supervisory, administrative or support positions.

 


Experience managing budgets.


Appropriate technical skills, specifically Microsoft Office     suite with solid Excel capability


Experience of having served in a supervisory role


Strong problem-solving skills


Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)

 

Preferred:


Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance with a working knowledge of Human Resources (specifically, Labor Relations/bargaining agreements)


Familiarity with emerging software, including Power BI

 

Position Scope


As assigned, work effectively with outsourcing partners


Perform this service in support of the Office of the CIO
