  • Under limited supervision performs clerical or other office type work. Work of this position may include any one or more of the following or other work of comparable nature as business needs dictate: 
    • Routinely assesses the needs of external and internal customers to determine a best approach to resolution (examples of this are, but are not limited to the following: corresponds with customers either personally, by telephone, or by written/electronic correspondence.) 
    • Routinely supports, maintains and coordinates the Engineering and Construction Processes using a variety of resources to provide quality customer service. 
    • Supports operations and maintenance activities in the timely preparation, maintenance, and coordination of the processes within the Gas Delivery responsibility. 
    • Daily usage of applicable computer systems. 
    • Routinely demonstrates the principles of safety, diversity, teamwork and development/training of coworkers. 
    • Communicates in all directions as a task-oriented employee who routinely works independently. 
    • Makes recommendations and implements work practices for process improvements and streamlining. 
    • Supports the emergency response and restoration effort. 
    • Directs and instructs other service associates, and other employees involved in related work as required. 
    • Performs clerical duties as required to meet business needs. 
    • Employees in this job classification are required to comply fully with the Federal Department of Transportation Gas Pipeline Regulations. Qualifications under this position of the job requirements include substance abuse testing.

Qualifications

REQUIRED: 
  • High School education or equivalent 
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret both text and pictoral representations including but not limited to maps, drawings, CAD representations, service card sketches, and similar graphic representations 
  • Ability to write legibly and qualified to make entries in and utilize manual and computer systems Must be able to pass entry level qualifying test Must have or be qualified to obtain promptly the required vehicle operators license 
  • Employees in this classification are required to comply fully with the Federal Department of Transportation Gas Pipeline Regulations. 
  • Qualifications under this position of the job requirements include substance abuse testing.
