Primary Purpose
ComEd - Responsible to develop and manage to an annual work plan (approved budget) for Transmission and Substation Preventive Maintenance (PM), ensuring the work completion targets align with the approved budget. The Principal Work Plan Coordinator will work with and provide the oversight for Finance, ITN Owners, Work Management, the Line Organization, and Investment Strategy to ensure the work inputs are clearly identified to maintain the work plan on an ongoing basis. The Principal Work Plan Coordinator will support work prioritization or revisions to the work plan and will facilitate changes in the work plan to accommodate budget adjustments across organizations. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Provide an annual work plan for the T&S Preventive Maintenance Category to be used to orchestrate a geographically dispersed work force of between 500 to over 2,000 employees and contractors. Determine baseline manpower and funding resource requirements that is supported by data to the Region, Resource and Model WO level. Recommend work prioritization or revisions to the work plan and facilitate changes in the work plan to accommodate budget adjustments across organizations. |

Accountable to work with Regional Work Control to ensure a smooth transition of the budget into a 12-month work plan. Influence decisions by providing recommendations based on detailed information to ensure the execution of the work schedules are aligned with the 12-month work plan, work completion and financial targets. |

Develop routine and ad hoc queries and reports for Preventive Maintenance budget development, target development, progress tracking, productivity indicators, data requests, data analysis and data cleanup. |

Meet regularly with regional / T&S leadership and work management group to review progress and productivity against work plan. |

Accountable to monitor and manage work plan performance measures such as actual vs budget to facilitate the identification of gaps and develop recovery plans to ensure re-forecasted work plan aligns with work completion and financial targets. |

Provide guidance, support and problem solving for Preventive Maintenance ITN Owners, Work Management, Line Organizations, Engineering, and IT for reporting, process issues, program interfaces, bugs or data issues that may require IT support, PM scheduling and deferrals, and report development. |

Perform analysis of new or replaced substation equipment and/or updated maintenance requirements and remove, modify, or assigned correct Preventive Maintenance. |

Collaborate with Line and Support organizations to implement, modify and/or automate new or existing Preventive Maintenance programs as needed; this may include creating new equipment types and model WOs, defining process and ownership, securing funding and implementation. |
