PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
We are seeking a talented supervisor with excellent communication and teamwork skills to lead the maintenance of BGE’s “Liquified Natural Gas plant” (LNG), “Propane Air plant” (PA) and our Natural Gas Gate and regulating stations. This position will perform various day-to-day duties and responsibilities, such as:
Join the team that ensures safe, reliable delivery of natural gas to our 700,000 customers, 365 days a year
Supervise or perform equipment installation, inspections, calibrations, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs for the operation of M&R stations and LNG plants. supervise operations and maintenance of propane - air peaking plants including coaching, appraisal and evaluating bargaining unit personnel performance. Preparing and presenting operations and maintenance training programs for related facilities. Includes standby after house for responsible to gas emergencies at M&R stations and gas plants. Note: Position may be required to work extended hours including 24x7 coverage during storms and other energy delivery emergencies.
