Manage team of 4-5 staff that provides technical and functional first level support to the finance community related to all Fixed Asset, Lease, Treasury and Cash Accounting processes and tools at Exelon.  Prioritize and direct the work of IT and the application vendors for work impacting PowerPlan Fixed Asset and Lease systems, Kyriba Treasury system and T-Recs cash reconciliation system.  Coordinate system changes for all PowerPlan modules (Fixed Asset, Lease and Tax) with IT/vendor, PowerPlan and the Accounting/Reporting/Tax teams to ensure adherence to established change control processes.



  • Manage the implementation of system fixes, updates, and enhancements by working closely with Exelon IT, Plant Accounting, Treasury Operations, Cash Accounting, Finance Community, and the application vendors
  • Coordinate all environment needs with IT Application Support and/or application vendor for production support and projects
  • Facilitate business process improvement through the use of technology 
  • Manage and support application close processes
  • Manage the maintenance/enhancement process for Tax-related PowerPlan modules
  • Maintain required documentation to support Sarbanes Oxley controls and audit requests
  • Prioritize and direct the work of the IT Application Support Team to meet business requirements and deliverables
  • Special projects at the direction of Sr Manager Financial Systems



The position is the Fixed Asset/Lease, Treasury and Cash Reconciliation Application Support manager, requiring knowledge of upstream and downstream system and business processes.  Requires the ability to interact with the functional and technical owners of multiple systems, to do impact analysis on system change requests and the ability to analyze and diagnose system issues in an accurate and timely manner.  Excellent analytical skills, communication skills, project management abilities and a customer service orientation are required


Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or computer science
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in accounting, financial reporting, public accounting related or financial system related
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Understanding of the fixed asset life cycle and related accounting and/or Treasury/Cash Management operations and related accounting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact and team with all levels across many areas of the Company
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Commitment to highest standards of quality and integrity
  • Exhibit professionalism and stay current on fixed asset and lease accounting, reporting and professional development
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems and technology
  • Demonstrated knowledge of internal controls
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team working capabilities


Required Proficiencies:

  • PowerPlan Fixed Assets modules – version 10.4.3 or newer, and/or
  • PowerPlan Lease modules – version 2017.4 or newer, and/or
  • PeopleSoft Project Costing or similar, and/or
  • Kyriba Treasury system or similar, and/or
  • T-Recs cash matching and reconciliation system or similar
  • Microsoft Office 365 Tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams)


Preferred Qualification:

  • MBA in Finance, Accounting or Systems
  • CPA or other financial certification
  • Public Accounting experience
  • Utility industry experience
