PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Revenue Requirement functions and special projects, including retail or wholesale regulatory filings and preparation of cost recovery regulatory mechanisms. This function assists in the development, execution, and support of the Company’s distribution or surcharge rate revenue requests internally through preparation of the cost of service studies and data reporting requirements for regulatory filings. Apply analytical skills as well as a working knowledge of accounting, financial and legal concepts, to ensure adherence to regulatory filing requirements for distribution, transmission, supply or surcharge rate proceedings, including the preparation of testimony for cost-recovery witnesses. Position may be required to work extended hours.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
JOB SCOPE
This is an individual contributor position that woks under general supervision and frequently performs non-routine work. This position is expected to resolve most questions and problems through interaction with internal stakeholders across the organization. On occasion, may mentor less experienced colleagues. Requests for information or analyses are usually performed independently and are subject to review. Contact with other business units and outside parties requires comprehensive written and oral communications, initiative, judgment and appropriate course of action. Tact, persuasiveness, and perseverance must be utilized. Participation on various cross-functional Company projects. Work is somewhat diversified in nature but consists of generally related activities. Decision making authority is related to the completion of projects and assignments. Initiative and judgment are required in determining appropriate courses of action. Work involves the use of computer word processing at an average proficiency level and the use of spreadsheet, and database applications at an advanced proficiency level.
